I’m Jake Nelson, founder and principal developer at SiteLaunch RVA. Everything we do gets a senior engineer’s care.

I’ve written software for a living since 2017, most recently as a senior engineer and tech lead. Before that, I spent ten years in client relations, customer service, and sales, automating work as I progressed through my career.

Your website should work as hard as you do. We build each one to help people find you, understand what you sell, and ultimately choose your business for their needs.

What that means for your site

  • You talk to the people building your site

There’s no account manager in the middle. From the first call to launch, you work directly with the engineers responsible for your site.

  • Big-company standards on a small-business site

I’ve led engineering teams on large consumer and healthcare apps. Your site gets the same care for speed and accessibility.

  • I’ve been on your side of the counter

Before building for the web, I spent ten years across multiple client- and customer-facing roles. I build sites that help you create, inform, and maintain customers and clients.

  • Verified results

Before launch, I run every page through Google’s Lighthouse test, which scores performance, accessibility, best practices, and SEO. Performance is guaranteed at 95+ on mobile and desktop, and you get the report for all four.
