A WordPress site that stays quick

WordPress lets you build new pages and move sections around yourself. We set it up on a lightweight theme with as few plugins as possible, so it loads fast and stays easy to keep updated.

What you get

  • A 5-page WordPress site

Home, About, Services, Gallery, and Contact, built on a fast theme like Kadence or GeneratePress

  • 90+ performance in Google Lighthouse

Every page we build, on mobile and desktop, at launch. You get all four scores.

  • Only the plugins you need

Forms, SEO, and backups, each picked for speed and a good security record

  • Training on the editor

A call where we show you how to edit pages and add new ones

  • Basic SEO setup

Page titles, search previews, a sitemap, and the secure padlock in the browser

  • Your hosting, your account

A managed WordPress host in your name, about $15–35/mo, paid to them directly

How it runs

You always know what’s happening and who it’s waiting on. At each checkpoint, the next step starts only after you say it’s right.

  1. Before you sign

    A free call

    Together

30 minutes to 1 hour on your business and what the site needs to do. We recommend one package, and you get a written price within a day.

  2. Before the clock starts

    Your content

    You

Your logo, photos, domain access, and the words for each page. On a Pro package, we write the words after a 1-hour interview instead.

  3. Week 1

    Homepage first

    Us

We design and build your homepage with your real content, so you see the look before anything else. You send one list of changes.

    Checkpoint: You OK the design

  4. Weeks 2–3

    The rest of the site

    Us

Every other page, in the style you approved. You check each one on your laptop, phone, and other devices and send one list of changes.

    Checkpoint: You OK every page

  5. By week 4

    Test and launch

    Us

We test on real phones, check all four Google scores on every page (performance, accessibility, best practices, and SEO) and send you the results. Once you approve, we go live on a weekday morning.

Checkpoint: You approve the launch in writing

  6. After launch

    We stay on

    Together

30 days of free fixes for anything we built. After that, WordPress Care keeps the site, theme, and plugins updated and backed up for $149/mo, with 30 minutes of edits.

Questions

Why is the WordPress promise 90 instead of 95?

Plugins you or a later developer add can slow WordPress down, so we promise 90+ on every page we build, at launch. On a custom-built site there are no plugins, so we promise 95+.

Why does WordPress cost the same as a custom-built site?

The build work is the same, from design to launch. The difference comes after launch, when WordPress and its plugins need updates every month. That’s why WordPress Care is $149/mo, a bit more than Care Essential at $119/mo.

Do I need WordPress Care?

No, but someone needs to update WordPress and its plugins every month. Most hacked WordPress sites were running something out of date. You can do it yourself, hire anyone, or have us do it.

Can you work on a WordPress site someone else built?

Yes. We start with a paid check of the site’s plugins, speed, and security, then quote any fixes before we touch it.
